Astraeus Desert Single Malt Gin is a union formed between two legendary traditions in the world of distilling – those of whiskey and gin. Each has its own history, techniques and culture. Each produces spirits loved by millions around the world.
They have been brought together through the collaboration of two master distillers, one from the world of whiskey and one from the world of gin. A certain kind of magic happens when like-minded people join together, which makes the outcome all the more enchanting.

A DESERT SOUL
The Pacific Northwest is our home. The ocean waves, morning mist, forests and meadows – it’s a place where nature is alive with color, scents, sounds and flavors. We have honored the terroir with Astraea Gin, using local botanicals to evoke a sense of time and place.
But there is another biome in the Pacific Northwest that is less known yet equally inspiring. To the east, on high rocky plateaus, you’ll find a unique desert setting with a sensory appeal all its own.
Dry sandy dunes, rugged mountain boulders, sparse grasses and scrublands, big skies and a desert wind that sets a whole new atmosphere. This is the heartbeat within Astreaus Desert Single Malt Gin.

Our double-distilled single malt whiskey is clear and unaged when we distill it a third time to infuse it with a desert soul. Organic juniper berries lay the foundation for a classic gin profile while the high desert botanicals elevate the resulting spirit into a spirit like no other.
